Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Drive operations & warehousing efficiencies to maximize output and reduce operation cost without compromising safety and quality.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement activities in areas such as efficiency, safety, security, quality, and maintenance.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with 3rd Party Service Providers such as Contractors, Vendors, Forwarders, and relevant authorities.
- Maintain equipment and warehouse facilities to ensure efficiency and safety are optimized.
- Accurately record information and documentation in a timely manner.
- Lead Emergency Response team for on-site or off-site spillages or accidents, implementing preventative measures for future accidents.
- Monitor profit and loss status of assigned operation.
- Ensure warehouse operations are in accordance with safety compliances and maintain 5S.
- Conduct preliminary investigations and report incidents to management.
- Perform other related duties as required by superiors.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in logistics and supply chain management or any equivalent field.
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Qualification related to logistics and supply chain is an added advantage.
- Minimum 6-7 years relevant experience in leading an operations/warehouse team.
- Hands-on experience in managing Warehousing or Inventory Management is an added advantage.
- Mature, responsible, and able to work with minimum supervision.
