Job Description

Your Role:

• Prepare inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks
• Ensure that inventories are constantly up to standards
• Responsible for forecasting Company’s future stock needs
• Set up operation standards for all subordinates to follow
• Ensure proper management of aging, returns and excess stocks
• Respond to complaints and queries concerning inventories and products
• Prepare and submit inventory control reports
• Provide assistance, guidance and direction to colleagues and subordinates as required
• Roll out warehousing and logistics group policies to all location warehousing operations, locally and overseas.
• Attend management meetings and conduct internal meetings as and when necessary,
• Plan target setting & measuring for all warehousing operations in the group.
• Keep the team motivated to achieve 100% stock accuracy target and maximum delivery targets.
• Find ways and means of reducing idling of the transport lorries and minimize loading/unloading turnover time to the shortest possible.
• Take control of necessary safety arrangements for the storage of stock to ensure zero accident target.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely data entry of inventory to avoid delays.Ability to implement and maintain warehouse with full 5s & safety awareness
• Ability to lead in the implementation of warehouse management systems at all sites, including overseas operations.
• Maintenance of cold room, ambient & forklift
• Perform other duties as assigned
