Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Plan delivery routes.
- Dispatch drivers to complete deliveries.
- Record shipment details on the computer system.
- Review driver logs.
- Respond to client feedback or complaints.
- Overseeing all transport operations.
- Organizing and managing storage and transportation.
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
- Reviewing, preparing, and routing of lorries.
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
- Addressing and resolving shipment matters.
- Liaising and negotiating with other vendors and customers.
- Answering customer queries and sending out quotations.
Requirements:
- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- A degree in business management, logistics, or a related field is welcome.
- Prior experience as a transport coordinator or a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Computer literacy skills.
