Technical Service Representative Expert – PPG in Petaling Jaya, Selangor

You will ensure premium level of technical service is offered to main customers in the Segment by active involvement in projects, from evaluation to commissioning to support all business in all technologies by applying specialized technical or scientific knowledge / products application. You will be reporting directly to Technical Service Manager, SEA.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop customer satisfaction with service, response, and problem solving activities.
• Work with Segment Managers and the SEA (South) TS Manager to assure continued growth, to support business targets.
• Direct involvement with projects, supplying advice, and expertise for plant and equipment design.
• Maintain competitive intelligence to support Sales & Technical.
• Liaise with sales, laboratories, manufacturing and prospective customers, regarding products, offer, specifications and environmental regulations.

• Liaise with PPG facilities and other TS Managers to ensure best practices are shared & adopted. • Ensure a culture of safety in all levels of service delivery.

• Improve and standardize documentation processes of crucial information: secure launch, line surveys, trip reports, pre-test/ trial reports
• Coordinate the introduction of new technologies/formulations from selection through commercialization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in Paint / Coating industry

• Minimum SPM / education background in Chemical Engineering / Polymer Science. • Familiar with 1K, 2K & High Bake System

• High experience in Industrial technologies.
• Understanding of application techniques and processes.
• Good presentation and reporting skill
