Job Description

The Team Leader, Customer Service is responsible for guiding a frontline team in FMX (M) SDN BHD by delivering effective and efficient services to all customers. The Customer Service Team Leader will work closely with Operations and Sales departments to provide consistent customer service information in response to customers’ inquiries and complaints.

Key Activities/Accountabilities

  • Attend to calls or emails from customers for booking shipment pick-up and handle related inquiries
  • Enter customers’ shipment bookings into the system with accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with Operations to provide status updates to customers regarding their shipment inquiries or complaints
  • Proactively keep customers informed via phone or email when necessary
  • Follow up with agents for daily shipment status updates
  • Ensure redelivery of all local outstanding undelivered consignments (Undel) by coordinating with the consignee
  • Prepare KPI reports for submission to customers as required
  • Collaborate with other functions to improve customer experience
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by the company

Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Diploma/Degree holder in any field
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in any industry or in a Contact Centre
