Job Description
A Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records and tax documents. They ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations by accurately calculating and filing tax returns.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conducting tax research to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Identifying tax savings opportunities and providing recommendations to clients.
- Resolving tax-related issues and responding to tax notices from authorities.
- Assisting with tax planning and forecasting.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather relevant financial information.
