Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, appliances, and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Sweep and mop floors, ensuring they are free from spills and debris.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, cutting boards, and food storage areas.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items, following food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigerators.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen exhaust hoods, filters, and ventilation systems.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, or cleaning ingredients, if required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other related duties/tasks as assigned by superior/management.

Requirements:

• Must possess at least a SPM.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic skills in preparing food and beverages.
• Experience as a kitchen staff or kitchen steward is preferred.
• Able to cope with a fast-paced working environment.
• Energetic and meticulous in ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Able to start immediately would be an added advantage.
• Willing to work on early shift, closing shift, weekends & public holidays.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From RM1,800.00 per month
