Job Description
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a qualified Site Safety Supervisor (SS) and possess the following:
- (a) Valid Yellow Book holder registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety & Health)
- (b) Air Selangor – NIOSH Safety Passport (ANSP)
- Possess own transport
Location: Selangor, Malaysia (site-based)
Multiple position(s) are available
Terms:
- Contract-based – 12 months or longer depending on job extension, if required
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing the requirements of the Safety Management System (site)
- a) Inspect and rectify any unsafe conditions at the construction site
- b) Correct any unsafe practices
- c) Check sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance
- d) Liaise with contractor’s safety supervisors regarding the safety of work undertaken by sub-contractors
- To conduct site safety inspections and recommend corrective action for unsafe acts of workers and rectification for unsafe conditions in all workplaces by submitting a written report
- To submit a Monthly Safety Report and Safety Statistic record
