Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented technician to join our team at Turcomp EMS Sdn Bhd. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various technical issues related to our company’s equipment and systems. The specialization is in pumps and services. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair technical issues with equipment and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and service work.
• Repair or replace worn-out parts, dismantle and reassemble equipment components.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of repaired or installed systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repair, installation, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain equipment appearance through cleaning and washing.
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as required.

Educational Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical certifications preferred.

Experience:

Possession of extensive experience as a technician or similar positions. Experience in pump repairs and pump testing is preferred. 1-2 years of experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Communication Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Own Transportation:

Valid driving license, with the use of personal transportation. Willingness to travel frequently.

Adaptability:

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.

Time Management:

Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time to complete tasks on schedule.

Customer Service:

Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical conditions.

Licenses/Certifications:

Having relevant certifications such as NIOSH, CIDB is advantageous.
