Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rigger to join our Service & Maintenance team. The Rigger will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate cranes, hoists, and other rigging equipment to move heavy machinery and equipment
- Inspect and assess rigging equipment for wear and tear, damage, or defects
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on rigging equipment
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute rigging operations
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Rigger in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Excellent physical fitness and dexterity to handle heavy equipment
