Job Description
An SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher is a professional who is dedicated to supporting students with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties. As an SEN Teacher, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the development and progress of these students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs. This may involve adapting teaching methods, materials, and assessments to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with other teachers, parents, and specialists to enhance the learning environment and ensure a holistic and inclusive education for all students. Your duties may also encompass maintaining thorough records, analyzing student progress, and conducting regular evaluations to assess their individual needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
