Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop new shipper clients
- Conduct prospecting and sales calls to acquire new customers
- Collect information to understand client companies and their business needs
- Meet with clients to explore and review business requirements
- Prepare proposals and quotations for clients
- Collaborate with customer service team to process client bookings
Requirements:
- Resourceful, proactive, presentable, and positive attitude
- Minimum 1 year experience in freight forwarding/NVOCC/Shipping industry
- Able to interact with clients through phone and in-person
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Basic PC knowledge, quick to adapt to new software applications and Microsoft Excel
- Own transportation required
