Job Description
A Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in driving the growth of a company. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating leads, initiating contact with potential customers, and qualifying them for the sales team. Your key tasks will include conducting research, making cold calls, sending out initial emails, and setting appointments for the sales team.
The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated and persuasive individual with excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable making outbound calls and confident in engaging potential customers. Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for sales are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and identifying potential customers through various channels
- Engaging potential customers through cold calls, emails, and social media
- Qualifying leads by understanding customer needs and interest
- Setting up appointments and product demonstrations for the sales team
- Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities
