Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Safety and Health Officer (SHO) to join our team. As an SHO, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. This includes conducting regular inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing effective safety measures.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
- Conducting safety training programs for employees
- Investigating accidents and incidents and providing recommendations for prevention
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies
- Maintaining safety data and records
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations, excellent attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is required.
