Job Description
Responsibilities
- Managing a retail store, motivating and developing a sales team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
- Maintaining the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Managing stock levels and purchases and ensuring they stay within budget.
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits.
- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry and monitoring what local competitors are doing.
- Handling complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation.
- Overseeing in-store promotional events or displays.
- Ensuring standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.
