Job Description
The Retail Assistant is responsible to ensure smooth operations of the retail shop including cashier, stock display, price labelling, handling parcel, receiving stock. Key activities and accountabilities include:
- Assisting customers in locating desired shop items
- Assisting customers to print consignment notes for parcel sending
- Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases
- Performing cashiering duties in line with Cash Handling policy
- Handling customer requests professionally
- Ensuring the sales floor is organized
- Other tasks as assigned by superior
Preferred qualifications, experience, and skills:
- Minimum SPM/Diploma in any field
- At least 1 year of working experience in retail operation or courier industry
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and high integrity
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good mathematical and calculation skills
