Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing the application for Malaysia Halal Certification (submit new application & renewal)
• Responsible for managing the documentation and records regarding Halal (ingredient’s Halal certificate)
• Verify documents and activities related to Halal Certification.
• Setting up HALAL SOP and HALAL manual and reviewing from time to time to ensure information is up to date.
• Key personnel in Food Safety Team and Halal Committee and its initiatives.
• Establish Halal Assurance Systems (HAS) and Internal Halal Committee (IHC)
• To Lead in HALAL internal and external audit.
• Identify training needs, organize, and conduct training to meet halal, quality, and food safety standards.
• To keep abreast of current legislations, standards, and guidance documents for Malaysia and exporting country.
• To review product registration dossiers & labelling to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• To support, participate, and follow-up on external and internal audit and audit report.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Food Science and Technology & any field relevant to the industry.
• Possess Halal Executive Certificate from a certified trainer by HPB JAKIM.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the Food Industry.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Applicants must be willing to work in Sg. Buloh, Selangor.
• Own transport required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,500.00 – RM4,00.00 per month
