Job Description
A Regional EHS Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing environmental, health, and safety programs within a specified region. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as extensive knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
The Regional EHS Manager will collaborate with site managers and staff to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international standards. They will conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks, while providing guidance and training to employees on EHS protocols.
Other responsibilities include leading incident investigations, developing emergency response plans, and maintaining records and reports on EHS performance. The Regional EHS Manager will also stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure continuous improvement of EHS practices.
