Job Description
- Distributor Management:
- Managing distributors or suppliers to facilitate the negotiation or renewal of distributor agreements.
- Monitor the expiration dates of contracts and to take appropriate actions when necessary.
- Exploring and Analyzing Distributors:
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to collect market information on existing and potential distributors in your region.
- Assessing distributors’ performance and capability and generating reports for company management.
- Authority to propose new or additional distributors in the region.
- Exploring and Negotiating Third-Party Products:
- Studying the competitive landscape in the Eyecare industry and providing reports to company management.
- Collaborating with the Application Specialist Division and Marketing Specialists to identify missing pieces or pain points in the respective product portfolio.
- Approaching potential candidates to co-host marketing events or collaborative go-to-market strategies.
- Identifying potential principals who can supply supplemental products, including software or solutions, to the company.
- Developing proposals for synergetic collaborations with these principals and negotiate terms and conditions.
The Successful Applicant
1. Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Science-related field
2. Very much prefer someone who has a minimum of 10 years of experience in the eyecare industry
3. Relevant experience of alliance sourcing and negotiation, distributor management for a minimum of three years
4. Very strong communication skills
5. Driven personality
