Job Description
Responsible for full spectrum of purchasing process for the company.
- Sourcing and comparing prices from different suppliers.
- Budgeting, costing, and cost-saving after reviewing available management information.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Researching and evaluating areas of opportunity to reduce costs.
- Assisting in preparing purchase orders, data entry, filing, and ensuring timely delivery of stocks.
- Maintaining proper records of purchases, quotations, supplier information, and documentation.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Undertaking ad-hoc assignments or duties assigned by superiors when required.
- Prior experience in purchasing factory machinery parts is preferred.
