Job Description
Position: Purchasing Executive
Location: Klang Utara, Port Klang
Salary: RM 3800-4500
Job Scopes & Responsibility:
- To be responsible for direct materials planning, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Request quotations from suppliers and negotiate for better pricing, terms, and lead-time. Allocate orders based on the best quotation, quality, consistency, and service from the supplier.
- Assist the department head in handling, planning, and coordinating incoming and outgoing materials needed to support operations.
- Carry out weekly and monthly reports as requested by customers and internally, as well as prepare forward delivery schedules and on-time delivery reports.
- Take charge of purchasing-related tasks, such as issuing purchase orders and closely following up on delivery from suppliers.
- Plan and develop relationships with new and potential suppliers.
- Coordinate and work closely with internal departments for new requirements and maintain good relationships with colleagues.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in a related field with 3-5 years of experience.
- Able to work with less supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Able to communicate, read, and write in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Proficient in MS Excel or Word.

Salary: RM3,800.00 – RM4,500.00 per month
