Job Description
Working location: Wisma Ann Joo, Lot 19391, Batu 8½, Jalan Klang Lama, 4600 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
Working hour: Mon – Fri, 8.30 am – 6 pm.
Job Responsibilities:
- To maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality, performance, and inventories.
- To source products from overseas suppliers.
- To negotiate with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- To process Purchase Orders, Letter of Credits, Marine Insurance, and all related documentation.
- To liaise with suppliers on the delivery status of each outstanding order.
- To ensure all delivery by mills/suppliers are in good order and condition.
- To liaise with shipping and logistic department on shipments and deliveries.
- To discuss non-conformance issues with respective departments and suppliers and take corrective action.
- To process payments (TT payment, Marine insurance premium payment, etc.).
- Any other duties and responsibility as and when necessary at ad-hoc basis.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- A proven track record with a minimum of two (2) years of commercial experience.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A committed team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and meticulous for detail.
- High integrity and able to work independently.
