Job Description

Report To: Purchasing Assistant Manager / Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the Purchasing Department’s filing system to meet company and legal requirements. Assures that documents are filed/housekeeping on a timely basis.
• Source for potential suppliers for raw materials, goods, spare parts, and services used in daily operations and the office.
• Monitor the purchase of goods, materials, spare parts, and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery, and ensuring continuity of supply.
• Responsible for preparing and compiling documents for payment purposes, assuring documents are approved per the company’s policy and submitted to the Finance Department on time, and monitoring the three-way matching of the PO/invoice/delivery note.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time by the superior.

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, proactive, and good communication skills;
• Detailed, efficient, good time management skills.
• Able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.

Qualification:

• Certificate/Diploma in any field
• PC literate – Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage
• Working experience in the production/construction industry will be an added advantage
• Possess own transport;
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing roles

Salary: RM2,00.00 – RM3,500.00 per month
