Job Description
- Responsible for conducting purchasing activities both locally and overseas.
- Prepare purchase orders for ordering merchandise and supplies.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers for orders and invoices.
- Maintain good records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and other important data.
- Ensure orders are delivered within the timeframe by maintaining good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Follow and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods, receiving, issuing, and distribution to the respective warehouse or job sites.
- Assist in the preparation of purchasing analysis and budgeting.
- Maintain updated purchasing records and inventory database.
- Work with team members, supervisors, and CEO to develop future purchasing plans.
- Work closely with the Finance Department on billings and prompt payment to suppliers.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
