Responsibilities

• Establish and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for sourcing, cost negotiations, credit terms and buying raw materials, consumable items, spare parts, and etc.
• Plan, source and develop new potential suppliers for economical procurement.
• Maintain a full record and coordinate with various suppliers and compare costs for purchasing requisition within the organization.
• Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers and follow up with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
• Ensure items are delivered on time.
• Carry out item receiving and data key-in into the inventory system.
• Submission of cost and price reports to Management.
• Responsible for material planning and inventory control.
• Responsible for maintaining the inventory system.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma or Degree in any field with 2 years & above experience.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent in sourcing & negotiation.
