Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing of new contractors/ suppliers from local and overseas;
• Manage the contractors/ suppliers’ evaluation and selection process;
• Review the contractors/ suppliers’ performance and make recommendation when necessary;
• Maintain and update the contractors/ suppliers list;
• Price comparison and negotiating fair costs based on product specifications and quality standards;
• Negotiation for the price and terms of payments as well as the methods and means of delivery;
• Communicate with suppliers on critical supply issues;
• Generate and issue Purchase Orders for all confirmed purchases;
• Ensure all Purchase Orders are placed with pricing and terms & conditions that are negotiated and agreed;
• Provide logistic/ shipping support, prepare custom clearance documents for tax exemption, monitor and ensure timely material deliveries;
• Maintain proper record on stock/ materials movement and balances;
• Observe all procedural and documentation requirements of procurement;
• Ensure all procurement activities are carried out according to the Group policies and procedures;
• Provide support to Project Department including working and coordinating with Project Managers/ Engineers to determine procurement needs for all projects;
• Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.
