Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Pullet Supervisor to join our team. As a Pullet Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and management of pullets, which are young chickens raised for egg production.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and managing the daily operations of the pullet farm
- Ensuring the welfare and health of the pullets
- Coordinating with the production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Training and supervising the farm workers
- Maintaining accurate records of pullet inventory and production
- Implementing and enforcing biosecurity protocols
Requirements:
- Prior experience in pullet management or a similar role
- Sound knowledge of poultry farming practices and biosecurity measures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
