Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in relevant quality positions, preferably from the oil and gas industry.
- Certified Internal/Lead Quality Auditor according to ISO 9001 and awareness on API Q1.
- Strong understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles and experience in leveraging associated tools to drive positive change.
- Excellent leadership and negotiation skills, backed up with a proven track record.
- Knowledge on API 6A, NORSOK.
- Working experience in a welding, non-destructive testing, and fabrication environment.
Abilities and knowledge
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- High work capacity, drive, and engagement for quality with a strong people focus.
- Energetic and proactive attitude with a structured working style.
- Customer-focused and self-driven personality with the ability to make decisions independently.
- Ability to build solid cross-functional relationships to ensure positive engagement with key related functions.
- Knowledge in SAP applications.
- Knowledge of analytical and problem-solving skills is required.
- Digital proficiency – ability to execute works using basic Microsoft applications with ease.
- Ability to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge and experience within the industry and codes & standards applicable for subsea. I.e. ANSI B 31.3, ASME Section V and IX, AWS D1.1, API series for XMT, wellheads such as API 6A, 17D, 16A, 16C, 5L, etc.
