Job Responsibilities:

• Preform variance investigation, verification, and reporting on a regular basis. Completion of reports with high accuracy on time.
• Responsible for product costing and cost accounting.
• Assist in performing weekly & monthly variance analysis, cost and profitable analysis.
• Analyze cost for costing purposes, monitor changes in the manufacturing process to determine the impact on profitability.
• Update costing information, report preparation, and carry out a comparison of cost estimates against actual.
• Calculate and analyze product costs, including material costs, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead. Work closely with the product development team to calculate costs for new products and provide cost inputs for pricing decisions.
• Support any ad-hoc assignments from Management.
• Maintain and enhance costing systems and tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency of cost data. Implement cost accounting methodologies and provide training to team members to ensure adherence to established standards.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in costing system development.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Medium-high level of Excel proficiency – V/H/X lookups and Pivot Tables is a must, and preferable knowledge or experience in BI tools (Power BI / Power Query) will be an advantage.
• Presentation skills with PowerPoint.
• Number sensitivity.
• Working experience in Lean Manufacturing is highly preferred but not a must.
