Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. This position requires exceptional analytical skills and the ability to effectively negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and products
- Creating and maintaining a database of approved suppliers
- Issuing purchase orders and managing the procurement process
- Negotiating contracts and pricing terms with vendors
- Monitoring inventory levels and optimizing purchasing practices
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Evaluating supplier performance and implementing improvement plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office Suite
