Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kelang. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing the company’s purchasing activities. Duties include identifying potential suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial to understand the company’s purchasing needs, develop procurement strategies, and implement policies to manage inventory levels and reduce costs.
Qualifications
– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
– Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Power industries
– Strong negotiation skills and experience with vendor management
– Experience with contract management and ability to interpret contracts and agreements
– Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
– Knowledge of procurement strategies and policies
– Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written)
