Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
2. Sourcing pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services while optimizing costs and quality.
3. Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with suppliers.
4. Coordinates procurement operations and inventory management to ensure critical drug availability, accurate inventory value assessment, optimized inventory turns, and minimized drug expirations.
5. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock level, inventory value assessment, minimize wastage and prevent stockouts.
6. Analyse procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency.
7. Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and insights.
8. Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends, marketing conditions, business opportunities, and product innovations to make informed procurement decisions.
