Job Description
A pharmacy assistant plays a vital role in the smooth operation of a pharmacy. As a pharmacy assistant, you will work alongside licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure the timely and accurate dispensing of medications. Your responsibilities may include assisting with medication inventory management, preparing prescription orders, providing customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential in this role. Prior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to develop and enhance your knowledge of medications, dosage forms, and pharmaceutical products.
