Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all production functions to meet quality, productivity, targets, cost, and customer satisfaction goals;
- Collaborate with planners to ensure production plans are available and work orders are in place; ensure production lines operate on schedule;
- Evaluate and optimize manpower utilization effectiveness and project manpower needs.
- Initiate and evaluate measures to improve production methods/processes, machinery/equipment performance, process/product quality, and suggest changes to methods/processes;
- Negotiate with department heads to plan production resources, machinery/equipment maintenance, product/process, quality control, relevant production records, and ensure operational costs remain within budget.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree with a valid pharmacy license under operation;
- Minimum 2-3 years of manufacturing environment experience;
- Knowledge of quality control measures and standards, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO 900 systems;
- Language skills required: English, Malay, and Chinese;
- Candidates proficient in Chinese preferred;
- Proactive, result-oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Must possess drive, analytical skills, and good business acumen to meet customer demands in a competitive business environment.
