Job Description
Location: Mutiara Damansara
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Development Director to oversee and enhance day-to-day retail operations.
- Monitor and improve overall efficiency in inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service through data analysis.
- Utilize historical data and market trends to create accurate sales forecasts.
- Assist in developing strategic plans to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Integrate data from different systems to create comprehensive datasets for analysis.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Leverage data analytics tools and technology to streamline processes and enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies related to retail operations.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Liaise with sales team and local and foreign suppliers.
- Arrange goods for shipment in a cost-effective manner.
- Any ad-hoc duties given.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a degree or diploma in business administration or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the related field.
- Systematic and process-oriented.
- Analytical and good with numbers.
- Knowledge in musical instruments or passion for music would be an added advantage.
- Able to work independently.
- Must be able to write English well.
- Able to converse in Chinese would be an added advantage for communication with China suppliers/manufacturers.
