Job Description
- Analyze and optimize transport planning process, from route planning, maximizing truck fill rate per trip and efficient truck type selection.
- Transport operations execution and documentation completeness.
- Daily Planning for truck scheduling, truck deployment and truck optimization for both owned and outsourced Transporter.
- Daily Progress on Shipments Update. Handling shipment discrepancy with ability on problem solving and root cause analysis for improvements.
- Timely communication and updates to all stakeholders Lead and manage the Driver and Helper team, and outsourced Transporter to meet KPIs.
- Maintenance of GPS for owned trucks.
- Renewal of truck licenses, inspections and permits for owned trucks.
- Controlling the departmental operations budget, monitoring expenses and Continuous cost saving initiatives.
- Optimize transportation processes to meet Company Objectives and Customer Experience.
