Job Description
An Occupational Therapist is responsible for helping individuals improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks. They work with people of all ages and develop treatment plans to address physical, mental, and emotional challenges that may affect their independence and quality of life. Key responsibilities include assessing patients’ needs, creating customized treatment plans, and engaging them in therapeutic activities. Occupational Therapists may work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or schools. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers. To excel in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and have a valid license to practice. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are also essential.
