Job Description

• Accurately underwrite all products, including medical underwriting, by assessing the risks according to company guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and continuously seek to improve individual quality scores.
• Ensure meeting individual productivity targets and turnaround time, always striving to improve individual productivity scores.
• Show keenness to develop technical competency by expanding underwriting scope or limits.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor/manager periodically to meet business requirements.
• Evaluate an individual’s medical history, physical condition, occupational hazards, financial background, insurable interest, and other information to determine acceptance, modification, or decline of risk.
• Collaborate with the field force or other functions to gather information for decision-making.
• Explain and defend underwriting actions.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Science, Nutrition, or equivalent.
• Must be willing to work in Cyberjaya.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (regional support).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prefer 1-2 years of working experience in the nurse/lab/any other related industry.
• Able to start work immediately.
