Job Description
As a Manufacturing Assistant Costing Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the cost control aspects of our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and efficient costing methods are applied throughout the production process.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the production team to monitor and analyze the direct and indirect costs associated with manufacturing. You will contribute to the development and implementation of cost optimization strategies to improve profitability and enhance operational efficiency.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking production expenses, and preparing periodic reports on manufacturing costs. You will also assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers and negotiate pricing agreements to achieve cost savings.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong background in cost accounting and experience in a manufacturing environment. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential.
