Job Description

Location: Petaling Jaya, MY, MY

Job Function:

  • Determine to achieve performance targets and objectives set by the organization.
  • Review previous months’ business performance (monthly, quarterly, yearly) against TGT and PY.
  • Develop the sales team through motivation and ongoing training which includes: defining expectations, sales process improvement, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
  • Conducts joint sales calls with the sales team to evaluate selling effectiveness and monitors the activity of new and existing accounts to ensure healthy margin growth.
  • Review team opportunity pipeline progress and conduct monthly sales meetings keeping the team informed of their performance expectations and ensuring effective account management and maintenance.
  • Maintain business relationships, identify needs, and coordinate efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.
  • Conduct sales join visits with supplier business partners.
  • Communicate with LBLM to keep informed of any issues/changes in the assigned area.
  • Appreciate uses of CRM eg. Salesforce as directed (call reports, opportunity pipeline, SMS, SRF, digital lead management, etc.).

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry
  • Minimum 5 years experience in selling chemical products
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the principles of sales and marketing
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
