Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Major Incident Management professional who is fluent in Japanese to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take charge of resolving and managing major incidents to maintain the stability and availability of our systems and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and respond to major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents.
  • Create and maintain incident reports, ensuring accurate documentation of incidents, root causes, and resolutions.
  • Implement an effective communication strategy to provide updates and escalate incidents as appropriate.
  • Monitor incident trends and make recommendations to enhance incident response policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is essential as you will be required to communicate with Japanese clients on a regular basis.
  • Prior experience in major incident management, preferably in a multinational IT environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred but not required.
