Job Description
A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various equipment and systems within a company. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine the best course of action for repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to use various tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
