Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive incoming materials and products, verifying accuracy against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Inspect received items for damages and discrepancies, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits.
- Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
Order Picking and Packing:
- Pick materials and products according to production orders or shipment requests.
- Pack items securely, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for shipping.
Material Handling:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials within the warehouse and to production areas.
Quality Control:
- Assist in quality control processes by following established procedures.
- Report any quality issues or defects in materials.
Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with other warehouse staff, production teams, and supervisors.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely material flow.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing warehouse tasks.
- Participate in safety training programs and report any safety concerns.
