Job Description
Responsibilities
- Make interior spaces fulfill functionality and aesthetic.
- On site measurement.
- Determine the client’s goals and requirements for the project.
- Plan the space usage and ensure efficient movement within.
- Create preliminary design plans, including electrical and partition layouts.
- Select materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
- Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of the design elements.
- Collaborate closely with fabricators to meet clients’ requirements.
- Work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
- Update project progress through social media platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions).
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and installations.
- Proficient in 3ds Max, KDMAX, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, or other design programs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Diploma in Interior Design or similar.
