Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the team in month-end closing, day-to-day accounting issues, tax filing, group consolidation & reporting, and ensuring data accuracy for the company.

Responsibilities

• Managing Senior Accountant & Accountant (<5HC) for month-end closing across different entities globally.
• Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure efficient month-end closing.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure the month-end report is accurate.
• Assist the team in the quarterly forecasting process.
• Assist the team in the statutory audit process.
• Communicate effectively with other department managers to promote efficient and correct workflow.
• Establish positive working relationships across the departments.
• Work with the team closely to streamline processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
• Possess professional certifications/memberships (ACCA, MIA, CPA, CA, etc).
• Minimum 4 – 6 years of accounting experience including month-end closing and month-end report, statutory audit, Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable, and tax filing.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience in accounting systems, Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

Salary: RM10,00.00 – RM15,00.00 per month
