About Our Client
This local manufacturing company is renowned in the market for its exceptional product line in the automotive industry. They have a strong presence in Malaysia and are currently looking for a dynamic and strategic GM of Finance to join the business.
Job Description
You will be in charge of:
- IPO planning for the company
- Responsible for the implementation of accounting, financial policies and control procedures to ensure compliance with group policies and procedures, statutory and corporate requirements.
- Cash flow management, credit control, and taxation. Ensure expenses incurred are controlled and in line with the budget.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and other statutory bodies/authorities.
- To lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance, accounting, IT, and taxation of a group of plantation companies.
- Responsible for providing regular and ad hoc management information, business support information, and financial advisory services to the plantation division and corporate head office.
The Successful Applicant
You will be suitable for this role if you:
- Have a degree in Accounting or a recognized professional accounting qualification, i.e. MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or etc.
- Have a minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience, including 8 years of senior management role in finance.
- Able to speak Mandarin.
- Have experience managing a team.
- Have experience in IPO.
