They have established themselves as a key solutions provider by collaborating with various sectors including manufacturing, energy services, automotive, beauty and care, agriculture, and many more. They are also equipped with their own Shared Service Center in Malaysia which comprises several business functions.
Job Description
- Oversee monthly general ledger closing and reconciliation operation.
- Monitoring month-end schedule and ensuring the deadlines are met.
- Coordinating internal requirements to support internal and external processes including (Month/Quarter/Annual) submission and audits (Internal/External).
- Collaborating with other Business Units in providing financial insights to support business decision making.
- Ensuring compliance with business policies and SLA.
- Leading continuous improvement projects, including system or process migration, to improve operational efficiency.
- Developing a strong track record within the team to produce a Subject Matter Expert to support the business unit.
- Providing leadership excellence to the team, including coaching, resource management allocation, KPI guidance, and constant engagement.
The Successful Applicant
- University degree (Accounting or Finance)
- Professional qualification of ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or similar is a plus.
- 4 – 8 years of professional experience
- At least 2 years of shared services experience
- Advanced knowledge in ERP system – SAP would be an added advantage
- Excellent leadership and people management experience
