Job Description
A Gas Turbine Supervisor oversees the operation and maintenance of gas turbine systems in industrial facilities. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable functioning of gas turbine equipment, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting regular inspections.
The main duties of a Gas Turbine Supervisor include supervising a team of technicians, coordinating maintenance activities, developing and implementing maintenance plans, and providing technical support and guidance. They also ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
Key qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, extensive knowledge of gas turbine systems, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
