Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Freight Documentation Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely documentation related to shipping and logistics activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and commercial invoices.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
- Track shipments and update relevant systems and databases.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to documentation.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for documentation purposes.
