Job Description
The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of the company. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the company’s finances are accurate, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitoring and analyzing budgetary performance and making recommendations for improvement.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
- Preparing and filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with taxation laws.
- Conducting financial analyses and providing insights to support decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance or a related field, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and a good understanding of financial regulations are also required.
